Garmin offers a 1-year limited warranty on its non-aviation products, covering defects in materials or workmanship from the date of purchase. During this period, Garmin will, at its discretion, repair or replace any defective components at no charge for parts or labor. However, transportation costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Exclusions: The Garmin warranty does not cover:
- Cosmetic damage or normal wear and tear (e.g., scratches, nicks, dents)
- Consumable parts, such as batteries, unless damaged due to a defect in materials or workmanship
- Damage caused by accidents, misuse, liquids, fire, or other external causes
- Damage from unauthorized repairs or modifications
- Use of products outside prescribed parameters
- Connection to non-Garmin certified power or data cables
Additionally, Garmin is not responsible for any degradation in performance caused by proximity to devices utilizing terrestrial broadband networks.
