How To Use

For Hot Melt Waxing:

  1. Remove the chain from the bike (for new factory chains).
  2. Immerse the chain in Silca Ultimate Chain Stripper + Wax Prep.
  3. Agitate for 30 seconds, let it sit for 5-10 minutes, then agitate again.
  4. Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove all factory grease residues.
  5. Immediately place the chain into a hot wax bath for optimal adhesion.

For Drip Wax Application (On-Bike):

  1. Apply one drop of Silca Chain Stripper to each roller while backpedaling.
  2. Let it soak for 5 minutes, then backpedal 10 revolutions to agitate.
  3. Reapply one drop per roller, allow it to sit for 5 more minutes.
  4. Rinse thoroughly with water while backpedaling at least 10 revolutions.
  5. Apply Silca Super Secret Chain Coating and allow it to cure before riding.
