How To Use
  • Use a Hollowtech II BB Removal Tool to open the lockring that holds the chainring on the crank.
  • Remove the old chainring, re-grease the splines on the crank.
  • Place the new oval chainring with the convex side to the crank. The chainring/crank has special splines that only fit one way.
  • Close the lockring to 35-50Nm of force.
  • Only compatible with XTR CN-M9100 chains. Using other chains may cause the chain to drop easily due to thinner teeth.

  • Always use a new chain with a new chainring
  • Measurements for Frame Clearance: 28T: 127 mm ; 30T: 134 mm ; 32T: 143 mm ; 34T: 151 mm
